Water magic (again, mostly defense, but can be offensive)
Appearance: Clicketh
Kasai usually wears a white cloak that reveals nothing. She knows that she sticks out in it, but she doesn't care a whole lot. She prefers that people shy away from her and give her weird glances than befriend her. She stands around 5'6" and weighs approximately 120 pounds. Her body is slender on first glance, but a closer look will reveal that she's fairly well toned. She isn't physically weak like many magicians are. Her ears are also pointed slightly which betrays her elven heritage.
Personality: Kasai is a very closed off person. She trusts nobody because of being shunned. Even though her elven heritage is more than ten generations back and she is mostly humans, she holds very little love for them. SHe also holds little love for her elven brethren. Neither race will fully accept her because of her mixed heritage. She is highly likely to snap at anybody if they tread even slightly upon her heritage or honor. She grew up in a forest, so she is very jumpy and uncomfortable when she is large cities. She speaks only when necessary and is always straight to the point. Most consider her rude, but she just ignores them. She could really care less what others think of her, but she craves acceptance by anybody.
History: Kasai looks young by human and elven standards, but that's because of her elvish blood. Though her elvish blood is more than ten generations behind her, it is still a strong driving force for her. She grew up in southern forests with a tribe of simple elves. Her parents had been killed by trolls, so the tribe had taken her in. She had never been fully accepted, however, because she was more human than elf. That didn't stop the woman that was like her mother, though. She was taught everything a normal elf was which included horse riding, magic, archery and swordplay as well as astrology. She was very adept in everything she learned.
When she was twelve, however, the other elven children drove her away from the tribe and she vowed to never return. She has little love for elves. She came to a small village with humans soon after, but they also shunned her for her elvish blood, telling her to go back to her tribe. This led to her hatred for both humans and elves.
She still craved knowledge, however, especially magical. She found a man that was willing to teach her magic and she became very disciplined in it. Her master passed about two years after he took her under wing, however. He left her his spell books and a barn owl as well as a small fox pup that was white. She became very close to the fox pup and found that she was one of her familiars. The owl remained her master's familiar, but pledged his loyalty to her.
Kasai took on her alias of "the Mystic Rose" when she was around fourteen. She had been with her master about a half year at that point when he noticed she had a real knack with growing roses. Her master had made her grow flowers with magic and without to show her how to care for plants and, obivously, for herbal uses. Her main flower, however, were snow white, silver and even clear roses. He started to call her his little 'mystic rose' as a tease, but it soon evolved into a nickname of endearment. She never recieved her full wizard name from him, so she took Mystic Rose as hers. Most only know her as Mystic or Rose.
She started traveling after her master died. He had taught her that, because of her magic, she was obligated to help others. She embraced this teaching although she was only sixteen. She traveled to both obtain magical knowledge and hold onto her master's teachings.
She has fallen on hard times, however. Twice she was completely broke when somebody was looking for an assassin. She was skilled with poison darts and needles, so she took the offers. She hated killing others, but it paid her handsomely. She still only allows that to happen if she's in desperate need of money.
