There were several Ponyta, most of which were sleeping. As soon as Sonai walked in, however, they all woke up and Sonai smiled. "Morning, everyone."
"Morning," they all said.

"Of course." She nodded.
"Know how to saddle her up?" Sonai asked.

Sonai saddled a Rapidash that was black with piercing pale gray eyes. The Rapidash also had a mean look in her eye when she looked at Imori. "Mm. Maybe not today..." Sonai said.
"Fine with me." The Rapidash snorted and Sonai unsaddled her, saddling a different Ponyta.

"She doesn't like men. She had an abusive trainer before me." She mounted the Ponyta who was clearly gentler than the Rapidash.

She nodded and clucked her tongue. The two Ponyta started trotting. "Hang on," Sonai said. "These guys get pretty fast."

The Ponyta broke out into a full-out gallop. Sonai stood up in the stirrups, clearly a highly experienced rider.
