"It's not for sale. My daughter made this for me."

"Leave him alone," Jaelyn said to the man curtly. "A jewel such as that was made from trust and love, to be handled by one close to the maker. It is not something that would be sold as a mere trinket."

Jaelyn narrowed her eyes at the man, suspicious. The starjewel and dragon's eye suspended in the air behind her quivered.

The man stepped closer, looking at the jewel. "It looks like, it's swirling inside. A rare jewel indeed. Your daughter must be very talented to make something like this. I'll search the world to find another like it."
