A girl with long blonde hair and striking blue eyes sat on a bench, wrapped in a cloak. she started down at her lap, her eyes brimming with tears as thoughts raced through her head.

She blinked when she sensed him, then bowed her head, clearly a habit she had. "H-Hello, sir," she said, her voice quavering. She clearly had been a servant or slave up until recently.

"I had to hide this from everyone, especially Master and Mistress. I was one day tracing the shape on a scrap piece of paper and Master nearly killed me over it..." She brushed her hair back from the right side of her face, a ghost of a nasty bruise visible.
