The music ended and the man dressed in black approached. Sunset looked warily at him as he swept low in a bow. "May I have a dance with the lady?"

Sunset blinked as she let his presence fully settle in. "Sandu-sama, what are you doing here?"

Sunset blinked in surprise. "I...I'm descended from you?"
He nodded. "Where do you think you got your medium powers?"

Christos went to get some punch, the hairs on his neck stood up. He looked over his shoulder and saw some upper class girls from his school. The girls got up and walked over to him.
"He looks like a little prince!" One of them cooed.
"Dance with me Prince Christos!"
"I...uh..."
"Come on!" The leader of the group took his wrist and dragged him onto the dance floor.

"Getting a little jealous, are we?" Sandu asked.
Sunset flushed a bit.

The girl held Christos close to her well-developed body. "Stop struggling and dance with me."
Christos rolled his eyes and turned into a Gastly to get out of her arms. "If I wanted to dance with you don't you think I would have asked?" He huffed and floated away, turning back into himself as he got to a table.

After the dance, Sandu dropped Sunset's hand. "Just have to ask. How's my father?" she asked.
"He's doing fine," Sandu said. "He says he regrets dying before you were born, but he loves the way you've turned out."
"Just like my mother," Sunset murmured and Sandu nodded.
"Now go on." He smiled as Sunset went back to Christos.

Christos danced.

Sunset smiled as she danced, her wings standing up proudly.
"They really are cute," a white-haired woman with blue eyes said as she stood near Sandu.
Sandu blinked and smiled. "They are, Jamina....or Mother, should I say?"
"Not tonight, Sandu," MOther said as she smiled.
