Name: Entreri
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Appearance [pic or short description]: Rawr
Personality [opt]: Every move he makes or word he speaks is calculated to achieve a desired effect. He never allows emotions or the circumstances, no matter how dire, to master him. Entreri also is terribly cunning, able to out think as well as outfight his opponents. He does not take threats lightly. For the most part, those who are not enemies of Entreri or his allies have nothing to fear from him. Entreri usually never kills unless it is necessary, or unless the person has wronged him. Entreri is a tactical master, taking every advantage offered him and seeking to create more. He'll often do this by taunting his foe into anger and mistakes. Entreri is also a quick learner, having to only hear a language for a few moments to learn it. Even if he observes a particular combat maneuver just once or twice, he is able to adapt it to his choice of weapons and duplicate it effectively in battle.
Entreri's greatest hatred and disgust is reserved for those who are willing to abandon or betray their children in an effort to save themselves. This is because of events of his childhood.
History [opt]: Entreri was born into the streets of Calimport, to a prostitute named Shanali, he was constantly abused by his 'father', Belrigger, and his uncle Tosso. Eventually, his mother sold him to a pedophile merchant who was, if anything, worse than his uncle. This was the first time Entreri lost control of his Darkness magic, and slaughtered them all. This betrayal was enough to put a block on Entreri's emotions, making the young boy hide from the world by a sheer mental wall. In Calimport, he was taken in by the thieves' guild ruled by Pasha Basadoni. Basadoni taught young Entreri the tricks of the trade, teaching him the basics of fighting, helping him master stealth, and helping him master his Darkness magic. As Entreri practiced, he flourished, becoming the most efficient and deadly assassin in Calimshan. He dropped his job as an assassin many years ago, then came to Pokeopolis.
Pokemon [listing more than six is fine]: Umbreon[Male, Jarlaxle]
Other [can have powers]: In the dark, his eyes glow with the telltale red glow of infravision. He has a small and rather ordinary-looking flute made of wood. For Entreri, playing the flute helps to clear his thoughts. He has Darkness magic, and near perfect control over it.
The Hunter:
On relatively rare occasions, Entreri had regressed into a bestial and instinctive state of mind in which he has identified as the Hunter. In the heat of battle, when his allies, or himself, seems to be in great danger or when he was alone in the wilderness, Entreri will occasionally lose control over himself or give in to the urges of the 'Hunter.' When Entreri is the Hunter, he reaches his physical apex, his skills honed to their utmost peak. His blades are like extensions of his own arms, and his senses are heightened beyond their normal capacity. In this state, battle moves in slow motion for him, and he can tell what his opponents are going to do before they do it.
Unlike the Darkness Biter, he can revert from the Hunter state with a single thought.
Equipment:
Vampiric Dagger:
This emerald-studded dagger is Entreri's signature weapon, and is the most recognized and feared weapon in Calimport. With a single strike, the magical weapon could suck the life force of the victim and use it to heal the wielder. The blade can also emanate a white, fiery light.
In battle, Entreri's favorite wielding technique with this dagger is to wield it as a main-gauche in his left hand with a sword or saber in his right. His common interrogation technique is to force the victim's palm open and use the dagger to make a single blood-drawing tear on it, thus starting the life-draining magic. He usually doesn't have to wait long before the victim yields and pleads for him to stop. When Entreri is seriously hurt and under pursuit, he commonly uses the dagger to heal himself at the expense of a passerby.
Nightmare
A black figurine which can transform into a Nightmare steed. When summoned a Night Mare has flaming hooves. Smoke and fire also emits from the horse's mouth, nostrils and eyes. The summoned horse never tires and is resistant to most non-magical attacks. The Night Mare can be dispelled by powerful counter magic and temporarily be reverted to the figurine. The steed is fearless and charges forward with reckless abandon. It can travel to different worlds/dimensions and take its rider with it.
Sword[Khazid'hea]:
Khazid'hea is a sentient and magical sword. Khazid'hea means "Cutter."
Khazid'hea is a finely crafted blade that can cut through flesh, bone, armor, and even rock. The blade itself is sentient, and can project its “thoughts” into Entreri's head and even affect his reasoning. On the occasions this has happened, they have gone into battle against impossible numbers without realizing it until their enemies lay dead before them. In the process, they often get hurt, but don’t notice. Khazid'hea is always hungry for blood and battle, and it is never sated. Normally, Entreri can suppress the sword's blood lust, and only fight when he wants to, though when in battle Entreri will listen to Cutter's tactics. It also reflects on his anger, glowing a bright green when he is in a rage.
Bracers of the Blinding Strike:
This pair of magical ringlets can be worn over any appendage, size permitting to magically increase the speed of, in most cases the limb which the ringlet adorns. Therefore being referred to more commonly as 'bracelets' or 'anklets'.
Entreri wears these on his ankles has given him increased speed and dashing footwork which has proved very beneficial in his melee fighting style, allowing him to run literal 'circles' around his foes.
Charon's Claw:
Entreri's right hand may become a gauntlet of pure energy, which he may use as a weapon, grappling hook, or a rope to bring his fleeing foes in closer.
Bracelets[that get no special name =P]:
These fire a seemingly endless supply of daggers, though every third one is fake, it is still fatal if believed to be real.
