Elry walked into the breeding center, shivering a bit as the clearly visible snow in her hair started to melt. A massive Luxray, six feet at the shoulder, stood slightly taller than her. His coat was a dusky gray and his completely blue eyes were a milky color, clearly signifying his blindness. Elry pinned a flyer on the board.
My Luxray friend, Daisk, wants a mate. He's around ten years old and massive. Not fat or anything, but extremely tall. He's 'bout six foot at shoulder. Oh and he's blind since he spent most of his life in Uncle Roran's Useless Shit room (don't ask; long story). Anyway, he's huge but he's one of the most civil and gentle Luxrays I've ever met. He'd be loyal to any mate he got and would never mistreat her. He has one hell of a temper, though, but he's seemed to got an endless amount of paitence. He wants a gentle, loyal girl who he can have intellectual discussions with. Despite being blind, the guy knows how to read and loves philosophy and magic. If you have someone interested, give me a buzz.
Elry's contact info was scrawled below in nearly indecipherable writing that was a combination of Yeneo and English.

"Well, looks like he might be what you're looking for," Kaushal said to a Luxio beside him. "It'd be worth giving him a chance."

Daisk was stretched out on a rug from head to tail. He yawned, then looked up, his milky blue yes focusing on them.

"That must be him," Kaushal said. "Go introduce yourself." The Luxio nodded and walked over. "Hello there. You're Daisk?"

Daisk faced her, his milky blue eyes focusing on her. "Yes, I am."

"I'm Naila. One question that comes to mind right off. In the add posted, it said that you're blind, but you can read. How does that work?"

"I had a lot of time on my paws. I run my paw pad across the page and am able to pick out the letters. Most are raised or depressed slightly into the page. Raised if printed on a modern printer or depressed if in a printing press or handwritten."

"Oh. Sort of like braille. I must say, that's impressive. Oh, I suppose I should also tell you I'm a Luxio since you can't see me."

"I can tell. I've developed something close to an ability called the Brenon that Fairies have. I can see energy flows though not in normal color."

Daisk nodded. "Obviously, despite my size, I have respect for all around me unless they wrong me."

He nodded. "I actually was born with the ability to see, but I lived in one room the majority of my life in the dark, so the darkness eventually claimed my sight."

"Not many know the true creation of this world." Daisk looked up at the ceiling. "Upon an onyx sky, only darkness was there Till she came 'round All stars and sunlight, her smile was ne'er far
she was ne'er lonely Till the day came she conjured it Those mem'ries she had buried
Abreast the nigh, She alasted her heav'nly eye And the fiery furnaces beyond
Twelve days and night passed Till heav'ns and all were created
Among them the stars of her eyes Light, Dark, Sun, Star Moon, Fire, Wind, Water, Earth
They claimed their lands And time began."

"Still, that was a nice poem. To be honest, I don't know how to read. Not English anyway. Kaushal doesn't know how to read English, so he's been teaching me how to read Al Bhed instead."
