Hotaru wrinkled his nose as he watched people. I feel like I might pass out with all these different scents around me. Plus, the different types of magic have specific scents, too. Not to mention those have different scents depending on where the person is from... He sighed and put his head down on the table. Humans confuse me so much. I wish I had stayed with Palma. Even battling against the Odium alphas would've been better than following Nashu all the way out here.

[Hotaru's a werewolf. Palma and Odium are packs of werewolves. Hotu's a char of mine from friend's forum, just tweaked slightly]

[Blade]

Alek walked into the cafe, his golden Lucario running ahead of him, and holding the door. "Thanks, Damini." He walked in, eyes scanning over Hotaru, and sat down a little ways away.

[Kiki]

Hotu raised his head and sniffed slightly. That human has a different scent than any other. He looked at Alec. It's weird. He shrugged then put his head back down on the table, going back to wondering why he had left the pack.

[Blade]

"Don't worry. Fate has a strange way of working." Alek said, as he looked away. "And i'm not reading your thoughts, just your aura."

[Kiki]

Hotaru sighed and lifted his head. "Well, at least I don't have to worry about Nashu and Rami fighting much," he said. "From what I hear, she's gone off and joined some weird thing called Team Phantom."

[Blade]

"Ah, poor girl. Misled." Alek commented, looking around. "Let's continue with you, though. Why are you so upset?" His voice was calm, but he knew he could defeat this person if it came to fighting. Even without his eyes he was still a strong fighter, and he did have Damini with him.

[Kiki]

"I won't attack you," Hotaru said. "Your scent says that you will attack if provoked. I'm not the normal Loup Garoux... That is werewolf. I don't attack needlessly. I'm peacekeeper."

[Blade]

"Ah, a wise choice. Making fights gets you nowhere, making allies gets you strong." Alek commented, "So, this friend of yours who joined Team Phantom, what powers does she have?"

[Kiki]

Hotaru nodded. "Well, I guess that's one good thing. The Palma and Odium were in the middle of a war, so yeah..."

[Blade]

"Ah, war, a senseless fighting between two factions. I've seen enough of it." Alek said, then added, "Although I don't see much nowadays."

[Kiki]

"Werewolf packs. Can't really control them," Hotaru said. "As for Nashu, she's my younger sister. She's a were like me, obviously, though we have a little above and beyond. She's a user of Moon. Me, Wind and Earth. Rami, Water."

[Blade]

"Ah. I can tell it must be hard on you for your sister to join such an organization." Alek said. "And I have been called 'a Jack of all skills, mastering each and mastered by none', but i'm really just a simple guy.

(That phrase, jack of all skills, mastering each and mastered by none was originally jack of all trades, mastering each etc, and was originnally used to describe Benjiman Franklin. Just an interesting peice of trivia)

[Kiki]

Hotaru nodded. "Your scent is different from any of the other humans' around here," he said. "You're more powerful than most of them."

[Blade]

"That's because, in my travels, i have learned to use Magic, Ki, Chakra, and Aura. Then, I was born with another power, which is called Tarmo." He listed his abilities shortly and sweetly, not bragging about his skills in the least.

[Kiki]

Hotaru nodded, though he didn't really understand. "Man. This city is a major overload to my senses, especially smell. There's the basic scent of humans, then the scents of all the different types of magic. Then the types of magic have different scents. If somebody learned Earth here, but somebody learned it somewhere else, it smells a bit different." He put his head back down on the table.

[Blade]

"I can tell what you mean. Here, let me show you what I see. I can temporaraly share my senses with another being." He held out his hand, "I won't force you into it. Whether you take my hand or not, i won't judge."

[Kiki]

"No thanks," Hotaru said lifting his head once again.

[Blade]

Alek nodded. "All right." He pulled back his hand. "I can see the energies of living things as they flow, as well as the lifeforce which is Aura."

[Kiki]

Hotaru nodded, not completely caring. "I hope Rami doesn't see me like this. That'd be a bit embarassing." He suddenly sat up straight and shifted his eyes. "If Rami's here, then that freak no doubt followed us..."

[Blade]

"What freak?" Alek said, looking around. "And why does it follow you? Such creatures could be vicous, or they could be looking for help."

[Kiki]

"She. It's a she. Another Loup Garoux. Her name's Shade," Hotaru said with a sigh. "And, yes, she is quite dangerous if you get on her bad side. She's interested in Rami. I mean like relationship interested. That or she just likes Rami's reactions."

[Blade]

"Take me to meet this Rami, and I will see to this Shade myself." Alek rose, "Such creatures can only be faced, before their true intentions are brought to light."

[Kiki]

"No. Just let things run their course," Hotaru said. "Shade can use Darkness and Shadow. It's quite the combination especially since she has near perfect control over them."

[Blade]

"I can control more abilities than she's even seen. If she intends for battle, she will be sorely dejected." Alek said, then looked at Hotaru. "Once my mind has been made, i will not change it."

[Kiki]

"Just leave them alone," he said. He clearly wasn't in the mood to deal with Shade's weirdness and Rami's whining.

[Blade]

Alek was about to say something, but Damini lept between them. "You should learn to obey your elders, pup." Alek said to Hotaru, then chuckled, "Ah well, let's go Damini." He turned toward the entrance, and let Damini take the lead. "Unfortunatly, walls don't have energy or aura, so they are invisable to me, so Damini here shows me the way." he nodded as Damini walked foward, then turned and opened the door.

"Leave 'em alone!" Hotaru yelled. He put his head back down on the table. "Old coot," he muttered under his breath

Alek just smiled as he walked away. "I will not go out of my way for them, however if we cross paths I will."

[Kiki]

Hotaru paid no attention anymore, focusing instead on staring at the floor.

[If you see this and you and Kratos both get on after you read this, will you guys pause the Dropoff thread for me? I know it's your thread, but I am a part of it so yeah]
