Shadow just looked at Kaushal like he was insane. "Throw it at you? Kaushal, if I threw it like i normally do, it would hit you before you entered your demention. Heck, you wouldn't see it coming."

"I usually throw it while using Chaos Control, which slows everything around me, making the attack inevitable." Shadow said, looking at kaushal. Then tossing the grenade at him underhanded. "But i'll just give it back. Don't want to go blowing up people, especially those who have found love."

Kaushal smiled and used one finger to send the thing straight into the air. He lifted his eye patch, looked toward it, then fired a powerful, wide range laser from his eye at the grenade. "I told you I have more tricks," Kaushal said. "When I lost my eye, I replaced it with a very powerful, compact laser. It constantly recharges from the electrical impulses of my brain." He pulled the eye patch back down over his eye.

"Eggman's grandfather created me, don't you think for one second Eggman couldn't create something like me!" Shadow said, looking at Kaushal. "Especially if he used the ARK to his advantage as well."

"We both know what happened when he tried to use the ARK to his advantage," Tails said. "He put the 7 Chaos Emeralds into the Eclipse cannon and we nearly lost the earth."

"Yes, he wouldn't do that again. But he would use the information on it's harddrive to create another version of me." Shadow explained, looking at Tails. "And if he did, I'm afraid even I may not be able to defeat the clone."

Rita smiled and was a little surprised when Kaushal hugged her from behind. "And nothing any of them did could make me love you any less," he said, kissing her on the cheek.

Spike smiled, he loved seeing her happy, and with a person as strong as Kaushal. He liked the guy, and knew he'd take care of her. "And i'd bet mom and dad would approve of your relationship as well, Rita!"

Rita smiled. "That really means a lot, Spike" she said as she took Kaushal's hand. "Kaushal, I love you so much." She turned to kiss him, gently running her hand on the back of his head.
"She's so lucky," Tails said, quietly. "I wish I could find someone who loves me as much as he loves her."
