Marci nodded tiredly. "You're welcome. I just can't stand to see people like that." Her words were a little slurred from her weariness. It was an immense strain on anybody to do the ritual she had.

"Hmmm." Something didn't seem quite right to Mithos. "Tell me, why is it when that evil was possessing you that your ears turned whit when you temporarily regained control, but they're still black now?"
"They haven't transformed back yet," Shinan said.
"Nice try. I see what's going on here," he said, lifting her with bloodbending again. "Start talking."
"So, the blood bender was able to see through my little scheme," Shinan hissed. "Looks like you've figured it out. The white-eared one was the possesser. I was the possessed, but I was able to push it back most of the time."
"So you haven't changed a bit."
"Wrong. Now, I'm more free than ever."

Mithos lowered Shinan down in front of him. He transformed into Kratos and his eyes glowed blue for the 30 seconds he was able to hold that form. "No." He said. "Don't deal with her. Time will deal with her. For that to happen, I will have to make a small sacrifice. I'm sorry to do this Krystal. I know you'll forgive me someday." Mithos released his hold on Shinan, then used bloodbending to hold Marci and Enad'li in place.
"Foolish," Shinan said, pouncing on him and having her way with him. "You let me go, so I won't kill you this time, but next time, I will kill you." She ran off.
"Krystal, forgive me for letting her take me like that. In time, it will change her."

Marci thought for a moment. "I see," she said. "You may not think I understood what just happened, but I understand perfectly. When you turned into Kratos, you looked into the future. You must've seen something bad or something she would regret or something along those lines would happen to her because of the child. I can gather information by keeping myself hidden in a pocket of space-time. Nobody, not even Kratos, would be able to sense me like that. I listen to things. I observe, so I know a great deal."
