Enki walked across the desert, looking at all the sand and rock. "Nice area. Looks like home." He focused, then began shifting the sand in front of him in different forms.

A girl with long black hair and chips of ice for eyes walked along, the biting desert sands not affecting her in the slightest. She looked around and sniffed the air, but she smelled little in the next to lifeless desert.

Enki moved the sand, hardening it to stone and throwing it to the side. Although, it seemed to go directly at the newcomer...
"Oh, no! Look out! Incoming!" Enki called as he watched the stone fly, a look of horror on his face.

Shade merely raised her hand and blasted it out the air with a small amount of Shadow, shattering it into a million smithereens. She lowered her hand and shrugged.

"Whew, i thought for sure that'd hit you. I'm Enki, and you are?" Enki introuced himself, looking interestedly at the newcomer. "I'm training in this area, it's perfect for my abilities. My friends are around somewhere practicing in their elements as well."

"Shade." She answered his first question. She wasn't a Garoux of many words.

"Ah, Shade." enki said. She wasn't as kind as he'd hoped, but he was used to people like her, he'd seen enough of them on the four's adventures. "well, i'd suggest staying alert, i'm going to start training again, and i wouldn't want you getting hurt." He said, then walked a distance away, hardening sand and launching it, then seemingly tiring of that move, switching to creating rock barriers around him, which then exploded outward, sending chunks of stone in every direction.

Shade shrugged. She had gotten bored of the fighting between the Odium and Palma packs and now she was already bored of this part of the world.

"Hey, you know, practicing my moves alone doesn't work as well as practicing with someone else, how about it?" Enki asked Shade to join him in his training, looking at her expectantly.

"I'd kill you," Shade said bluntly, then shrugged. "But if you're eagar to die, then I'll fight you. Just another name to add to the list if you want to fight me."

Enki looked at her like she was crazy. "Hey, i'm just suggesting practice, not a full battle. Attacks at limited power, you know what i'm talking about?" Then he added, "I'd accept your challenge if my friends were around..." He wished he could get together with the other elementals soon, so they could meet this shade and so he didn't feel so... lonely. He was surprized. He always thought he liked being alone, but he had just proven himself wrong.

"Never held back in my life," Shade said. "The power of a Loup Garoux with magic is something that shouldn't be held back."

(AUGH - I hate it when the forums are going so slow and don't recognise when i make a post... I made a long one earlier, and hit post reply, and it isn't here. Sorry...)
Enki looked at the strange 'Garoux' like she had just confessed to leaping off unending cliffs for fun. "Seriously? My friends and I, when we're together, we can combine our powers and are pretty strong, but we hold back when we train so we don't hurt each other."

[S'all right. And I understand your pain. That's why if I'm doing an uber long post, I usually do it on Word or something]
Shade shrugged. "When you're used to nothing but battle all your life, you learn to not hold back," she said. "The pack I grew up in was weak. They were driven from their territory." She snorted at the memory. "I was the only strong one. Not even the alphas would stand up to those bastards."

"I cannot understand such pain, however I as well have led a life of battle. My friends and I fought a wizard named Trevil for a long time. If you'd allow yourself, you could learn to trust others." Enki spoke, hoping not to annoy or iratate Shade, but rather to befriend her.

Shade snorted. "Friendship is for the weak," she said. "Friends only ever hindered me. Those that hinder me pay dearly."

"Friends are not only a hinderance, but also a point of strength. Why won't you listen?" Enki asked, looking at Shade, feeling sorry for her. She was alone, and had no friends from what he heard.

"I have no interest in hinderances," Shade said. "If something gets in my way, I eliminate it."

"If I hadn't had my friends, i wouldn't have made it anywhere as far as we did. Sure, they may have led me in the wrong directions a couple of times, but that's what made the experience entertaining. And when it comes to fighting, there are no others i would rather have by my side." Enki said, staring her down.

Shade shrugged. The closest to 'friends' she had ever had were her siblings, Thorn and Nettle, but it was still a strained relationship. "I've no need as I said before. If they were weak, I eliminated them as I said just a moment before."

"All right, then I'm afraid I'll have to fight you." Enki said, his eyes growing determined. "And prove to you the strength of friendship!"

Shade laughed. "I was a year and a half when I took down an entire pack by myself," she said, then laughed again. "And you have the guts to take on a Shadow user by yourself. You're stupider than I thought!"

Enki just huffed, ignoring her. "You'll see how strong I can be." He put on his battle armor as he spoke, his earthern aura increasing as it was focused through the stone in the armor. "As you do not hold back, I shall not either." He held out his hand, a pillar of stone appearing, which he punched, revealing the Earthern Claymore, which he grabbed, and prepared to fight.

[I'll be majorly powerplaying here, jsyk. I don't normally, but this is one of those things that kind of calls for it]
Shade shrugged and formed a large ball of Shadow above her hand, then tossed it at Enki, sending him flying thirty feet into the air, then landing about forty away. "That is the power of a lone individual that has killed more than two hundred with absolutely no remorse!" she said.

Enki took the blast, laying down about the said distance. "Enki!" Another figure ran up to him, crouching down. "Aquize, leave me be. This... is my fight." He slowly got up, ready to charge again. "Enki, just drink this. It'll help you." She held out her Pure Water, which he drank, then stood to face Shade again. "My friends... Are always there for me when i need them. They are always willing to fight alongside me, or help me when i'm injured. You have nothing like that. Which is why, when you go down, you won't return!" The words themselves seemed to make him grow more powerful, and he charged, the Earthern Claymore glowing a bright green.

A figured garbed in a white cloak the revealed nothing walked up and inbetween them. Shade stepped back, clearly frightened, an emotion she wasn't used to. The figure took a kunai of white marble out and tossed it at the Loup Garoux who quickly changed to her earthskin [took her wolf form] and turned tail. "Leth'il," the figure said with a scoffing tone.

"Why? WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?" Enki looked at the figure, iratated and in battle mode. He focused, his powers making the sand around it rise up and close in, trapping the figure in a cuccoon of sand.

The figure simply walked out of the cocoon. She pulled her hood down, revealing blonde hair and blue eyes. Her features were fair and Elf-like, but her ears were only slightly pointed. "That was a user of Shadow. She easily would have killed you and with no remorse," she said, her voice even and virtually emotionless. She was obviously not phased by Enki at all. "On the nigh of nine hundred, I know how to deal with nearly all magic users."

"And your point is? I'd have been able to handle her!" Enki called, looking at the figure with a glare. "Enki, please, don't." Aquize said, "You're acting like Xipil would." Enki shook his head. "That... Shade. She really iratated me, calling friendship weak. I won't let her get away without some wounds from me, even if it costs my life, i'll be worth it."
Another figure, led by a golden Lucario, walked up, holding up his hand. "Would it? Would it be worth making your friends lose their leader?" his eyes, glazed though they were, looked at the figure in the white, his eyes seeming to peirce her soul. "And who are you, if I may ask. It's not nice to lecture without a proper introduction." Then he added, "I'm Alek, by the way."
