Melanie and Charmander walked through the forest. The bright green grass and leaves of the tall trees surrounded them. "Let's go find some Pokemon!" Melanie said.
"Char!" Charmander nodded.

"Oh, hey there," a voice said as a blue fox-like creature walked up. "Looking for pokemon?"

"Yeah," Melanie looked at the creature. She had never seen anything like it before. "Um...if you don't mind me asking, what are you?"

As Krystal looked from above, Melanie and Charmander searched from the ground. At the corner of her eye, Melanie saw a bush move nearby. She then walked over to it.

As Melanie peered over the bush, a blue blur flashed by her.
"What was that?" She asked herself, then turning around to see where it went.

"Careful, or you'll scare it." Krystal handed the pokeball to Melanie. "Don't worry. Topaz will listen to you. She's sweet."

"Sorry," She replied. Melanie took the Pokeball from Krystal and grasped it in her hands. The Pokeball opened, revealing a Mudkip. "Hi there, Topaz. Will you help me catch that Vaporeon?"
