Kenshin left and returned before long with an emerald green dragon, about 1 and a half times Ayama's size, but one could tell from looking at his face that he was very gentle.

Ayama appeared atartled by the green dragon. A sudden change came over her as she faced an internal conflict. She backed up to Derrick and whispered in his ear. Derrick waited a moment after she was finished before speaking. "She is unsure. In her exact words she said that she would like to, but she would also want to share a seperate love of battling and traveling the regions. She also said that I would be useless without her, adding to her predicament. She does feel like mating though. Why she hasnn't even told me till now is questionable, but I won'y query."

"You needn't fear," the dragon said in a deep voice. "If you wish to travel, I will travel right along with you. We can fly the skies together," he said, stretching his wings.

Ayama appeared to be deep in thought. After a few minutes of pondering she shrugged as if she didn't care, a little of her old personality returning. "I guess that is a yes." Derrick said.

Ayama just fiercly glared at Derrick. Derrick looked momentaarily suprised at the harsh glare, but the meaning got across. "I think she's mad at me for interpreting her. It is a definite yes though.

"Ayama." Ayama's undoubtebly feminine voice sounded. Derrick watched the two taking a step back in case Ayama's tail were to strike him.

Derrick walked up to Kenshin and took the badge from his open hand. He examined the badge in the light, admiring the shine before he backed away towards the door. "I-I guess I will just walk the distance then." Derrick said.

Derrick was slightly startled since he was used to riding on the back of Ayama, not in her claws. He grew accustomed to it over time though.
