Derrick walked into the gym. Since the first gym required double battles, he decided to come here for convenience to see how far he could get. He gave a brief call to the gym leader before sending out Ayama, his Charizard.

Kenshin walked out, in his human/dragon hybrid form. "Welcome," he said, his tail dangling around his ankles and his horns shining in the light.

'I came to fight." Derrick said. Ayama roared in agreement. Derrick felt his earsdrums throbbing from the roar since Ayama was standing near him.

"Well, a fight you want and a fight you'll get," Kenshin said, whistling. His own Charizard, Blazer, came forward and roared, showing she was ready for battle.

Derrick had no response but wathced in silenece as Ayama strode forward into the battle ring. She was smiling, eager to start battling a pokemon of her own species.

"This should be fun," Blazer said. Before she entered the ring, she turned and marked herself with a stripe of blue paint across her chest. "Easier to track who's who this way."

Derrick shrugged her shoulders in indifference. Ayama didn't seem to care much either for she kept her eyes on Blazer, focusing on what she would do in an effort of offense.

Blazer flew at Ayama, ready to use Skull Bash.

Ayama took the Skull Bah, but tried to grab Blazer by the head and use Seismic toss on her.

Blazer managed to escape the full force of the Seismic toss, but still ended up getting hurt some.

Ayama used Aerial Ace as her next move. She sped like a red flaming bullet at Blazer.

Blazer stood ready and caught Ayama as she came in, holding tight, flipping her in the air into the ground.

Ayama groaned as she was smashed into the ground. She turned her head and used Flamethrower at Blazer's face.

Blazer closed her eyes and was mostly unaffected, thanks to her type resistance.

Ayama then tried to kick off Blazer, using Blazer's closed eyes to her advantage.

Blazer was hit and fell over, but she quickly rebounded and grabbed Ayama.

Ayama grabbed blazer back and tried to use Seismic toss. She used another Flamethrower in the process to try and get Blazer distracted.

Blazer kept her focus through the Flamethrower and managed to get Ayama over her head and throw her on the ground.

Ayama caught flight before impact. Her wings grazed the ground however, in an uncomftorable manner.

Ayama growled at Blazer, rejecting any kind of sympathy Blazer might have been trying to offer. Ayama used Aerial Ace, she closed in Blazer and then used a velocity powered up Mega Punch.

Ayama ducked, taking Blaze's hand with her, and wincing as the clowed finger scratched her skull. Ayama attempted to use Seismic Toss again.
