Wandering

Arya walked carefully from her home, a cave beside the waterfall. She looked around carefully, then beckoned behind her. As she left, a large Charizard followed. He swung his graceful head, looking from side to side, then he wandered out. Arya walked to a smooth, flat rock and sat down upon it. Then she stared forlornly over the water. How she longed to call the water up to dance for her, how she longed to call a water spirit to play with her. But the water here was not the same as that in her world, where water was graceful and listening. Here, the water was clumsy and deaf. And there were no water spirits to play with, so she contented herself by meditating and listening to it whisper. Then she heard a sound and whipped around, pulling out her staff, ready to face who ever was watching her.

[Kiki]

"Chill," Kiki said, holding her hands up. "Relax. I won't hurt you. I was just following my Tirga who's been acting a little strange."

Arya relaxed, then lowered her staff. "Who are you?" She asked in her slightly musical voice. She looked at Kiki with a look that couldn't be read, though most feel that they are being x-rayed. Her odd silver eyes flashed up and down Kiki, pausing at the girl's air of command and proud stature. This girl has a very high position in this world, she could feel it in her presence, but there was something else she couldn't identify. She decided to trust Kiki, and said,"My name is Arya, and I am a guardian of this forest. Who are you and what are you doing here?"

[Kiki]

"My name's Kiki," she said. "And I already said I was following my Tirga who's been acting strange lately. I know she's pregnant and hiding from me, but whatever." She shrugged. "I also come here to calm down and enjoy the presence of the Temple to Ame-unete underneath the waves of Lake Eternity." She motioned to the lake.

Arya looked at Kiki carefully then looked at the lake. She could not see the temple, but it must be hidden from prying eyes. She turned her gaze back to Kiki, then asked "What, or who is Tirga? I have never seen one of those, either in this world or others." She looked around, and spotted movement in the trees. "What ever Tirga is, I think she is over there.", pointing towards a clump of trees.

Blaze looked a Kiki with a look of caution, then he said in a deep rumbling voice, "My name is Blaze, and I will trust you as long as you do not harm my trainer." His voice was of an avalanches', if it could speak. He swung his fiery tail and looked towards the clump of trees that had rustled. He sniffed the air. Pokemon. Sure enough, the smell was of Pokemon. He swung his majestic head to look at Kiki, waiting for her reply.

[Kiki]

"Yeah, I know where she is. I can sense her," Kiki said. "And she's a type of Pokemon. Not a widely known species. Tarna." A Pokemon that looked like a Persian but with tiger fur walked out of the bushes. "And, Blaze, don't worry about me harming anybody. I don't attack others unless provoked. It's the way of my Ukati."

[umbreon]

"Ukati?" Asked Arya quizzically. She cocked her head. And looked at the Tirga. She sensed something in it, so she reached out with her mind to soothe it.

[Kiki]

Tarna hissed, sensing Arya's intrusion into her mind. "You stay out!" she hissed shrilly.
"Yeah. Tirga are proud Pokemon. They don't appreciate things like that," Kiki said. "And Ukati is a set of moral codes a Fairy sets up for themself to live by. It's the highest thing a Fairy can swear by. That is, unless, of course, they're a member of the Council of Gods and Goddesses and have a Seal. Then the highes they swear by is their Seal."

Arya recoiled. "Sorry." It was her instinct to help animals, so she had not realized she had touched Tarna. Arya turned to Kiki, "Would you like to spar? I have been going out of practice."

[Kiki]

"Not overly," Kiki said, her expression going flat. "I've had enough practice for a while. I used my Shadow too much and nearly died from it several times."

[umbreon]

Arya shook her head. "No, not magic. Weapon sparring." She raised her hand and murmured an indecipherable word. Slowly a staff formed. It looked like wind made solid. It was wind made solid. She offered it to Kiki.

[Kiki]

"I wasn't taught like that," Kiki said. "I was taught archery and swordplay. But I'm really not in the mood today."

[umbreon]

Arya was disappointed. She whispered another word and the staff melted away. "Would you like to see my home?" She asked, beckoning. 'I have some tea and wildberry jam if you're hungry." Blaze nodded, as if granting permission. Then she froze and listened. Then she mouthed, "uh oh." and dashed away to the waterfall. She dashed behind it and her voice came from behind the waterfall, "Quickly! Inside!"

Zorbak watched the two powerful looking magic users. He saw one freeze and dash behind the waterfall. Blast it! He thought, Ah well, at least I'll get the other one. His Aggron stirred restlessly behind him. "Be quiet, you stupid imbecile! They'll hear you!" He hissed, then he turned his attention back to Kiki.

((I only want Zorbak to cause a little trouble, or a lot. Depends.))

[Kiki]

Kiki followed Arya inside, but cracked her knuckles and neck just in case Zorbak tried to attack. She put her hand on her sword's hilt. It could only cause the physical damage she wanted it to. Man, this member of Team Phantom is fucking stupid, she thought. Not knowing I could probably defeat Emara at this point...

[umbreon]

Zorbak was frustrated now. He decided to charge them and knock them out, then he would take them to his leader and receive a reward. Two magic users ought to bring in a heavy reward. He ran forward and his Aggron with him. Together they burst through the waterfall.

Arya screamed and drew her staff. She said another indecipherable word, and blades sprouted from either end of the blade. She spun it around and pointed at the intruder. Then she heard him say, "Take them out. And the next thing she knew was the Aggron charging at her. She fell, unconscious, with a tiny "ow."

[Kiki]

"Bastard," Kiki said. She lifted the Aggron up using her telekinesis, then used a binding spell to paralyze Zorbak. "Do you have any idea who you're dealing with, you retard?!"

[umbreon]

Zorbak grinned, then sent her a vision of bodies and war. Forests burning, rivers blood-red and cities and towns burned. He put all the effort he could to making Kiki immobile.

[Kiki]

Kiki blocked the vision with Star magic. "You really don't," she said. "I've been trained for all sorts of situations. I can beat your leader. I can twist the Yelwood Code and make her obey me."

[umbreon]

Oh Crud! He thought. She's friggen strong! Oh well. So much for this attempt. He blinked and teleported himself and Destruction out.

[Kiki]

Kiki grunted. "I hate Team Phantom," she muttered, then bent down and used some healing magic on Arya.

Arya looked up. She saw Kiki. "Ugh. What happened? Did you kick that little A-hole to hell?" She got up. Blaze was outside the cave, out cold. She walked over to him, and murmured a word. A smell of mint and basil wafted in the cave, then Blaze awoke. "Ow." He said, rubbing his head. "I hate Aggron. One killed my mother, and he nearly killed me." He looked at his tail. "Good. Still lit." She said, then they walked to Kiki. Arya asked, "Are you hurt Kiki?"

[Kiki]

"I'm fine," Kiki said. "He tried to use what seemed like Genjutsu or something on me, but I was easily able to block with Star. Having all nine Elements is extremely useful."

[umbreon]

Arya looked at Kiki. "Lucky we Forest Guardians are immune to visions like that. His stupid Aggron. I hate them. If I could corner them, I'd get the trees and grass to strangle him." She said. She looked around, then got up and made tea. She heated the water with magic, then handed the steaming cup to Kiki. "Here, drink this. It'll help with the shock." She drank her own tea, watching Kiki.

[Kiki]

"I'm fine," Kiki said. "I'm used to stuff like this and I was trained for these sorts of situations. As a member of the Council and ruler of Raidia, I know how to handle these types of situations."

[umbreon]

Arya nodded. "Still, you should drink it. It is quite good." She set aside her now empty mug, and walked over to a series of nooks in the rock. She reached inside one of then and pulled out a chunk of meat, which she threw to Blaze. Then she took out the dusk ball that held her Skitty, and threw it into the air. The Skitty came out and looked around. She spotted Kiki and said in a slightly dreamy voice, "Hello, my name is Dream. Who are you?" Arya then took some kibble-looking stuff and poured it into a bowl forged of stone.

[Kiki]

"Name's Yushima Kiki."

Dream looked at her and said, "That is nice." She walked to her food and leaned over and ate. Arya then took out a stone plate and put a loaf of bread, two bunches of grapes, and some mead. Then she took out two wooden cups. She then walked over to Kiki and set the plate down on a ledge nearby. 'Hungry?" She asked, motioning to the food. Arya took some grapes and ate them.

[Kiki]

"Thanks," Kiki said. "I overused my Star a little, so I'm a tiny bit drained." She started eating. "I more or less got 'new' magic over the winter and I'm still experimenting with things. I don't know the full limits yet, so I have a bit of a tendancy to go a little overboard."

[umbreon]

"You're welcome. I some times get hungry after a bit of magic too." She said. She poured some mead in a cup and handed it to Kiki. She then poured herself some mead. She sipped it and put id down.

[Kiki]

Kiki sniffed the mead, then sipped it.
