Marci sidestepped, backflipping. Under her breath, she was chanting rapidly though only her ears could hear it. TO others, it would just sound like fast, nervous breathing.

"I can hear how nervous your breathing is. Here. I'll let you stop worrying!" he said, charging, ready to strike her down. "Wind Scar!" Several powerful energy beams shot out, traveling along the ground with power enough to destroy 1000 demons in one strike.

"Zaxi!" Marci held her hand out, stopping the Wind Scar. She winced a little from having had to use the energy she had been charging early. She began again though it wouldn't sound any different than before.

"Impressive stopping the Wind Scar, but that won't save you." He used the sword to cut Shinan's arm, then flung the blood towards Marci. "Blades of Blood!"

The attack hit Marci, but it "poofed", revealing it had hit a log. The real Marci was right behind Shinan. "Ta, zuk, shi!" She put her hand on the back of Shinan's head, sending a powerful spell that would stop Inuyasha's ability to take over but still leave access to the abilities. It also sent a jolt of Star magic that would regulate the heat cycle of Shinan's body. "This spell is infallible. No demon has ever broken through it in over 20,000 years."

Shinan regained control and fell down, relieved. "The burning stopped, but while he was controlling me, he said such horrible things to Anila. He hurt her. I need to do something to help her."

"It's all right," Marci said, reverting back to the body of an eight year old out of habit. "Anila knows it wasn't you in control. Plus, she's one to rarely hold a grudge. SHe grew up around Valacian Elves, namely healers. They usually always forgive."

Marci snapped. "That's right. I know a spell that can surpress it until a time you're both ready o go to the next level. It's normally not good to mess with the body's natural processes, but this spell doesn't harm the body. It's been under development and perfection for over 10,000 years in the 3rd D. Actually, Anila has the same spell on her."

Shinan produced a pouch of powder she had hidden in her hair. "Here. I was told only to use this on Inuyasha should he ever get out. With his memories erased, I'd have a chance to make him good instead of evil. It'll only erase her painful memories. There's no way it can leave a trace behind."

Anila was curled in a ball, sleeping. Marci gently shook Anila awake. "Ithae." The Absol raised her head and looked at the pouch.
"Ak'sae?"
"Shim'tro." Marci patted Anila on the head and coaxed her to take the powder. Several minutes passed, then Anila shook her head. "Daxae?"
"Kat'ri."
"Sorry about all of that," Marci said. "When she's upset like that, all she'll speak is Elvish."
