It didn't even take a full day for Goram to regain his strength. When he was back on his feet, he went to see about getting a job at the hospital, Emy and Lita with him as support. "Ok, let me get this straight," the human resources director said to Emy. "He has no education, no working background, he can barely read or write and you want me to hire him as a doctor based on the unproven claim that he has some kind of magic healing touch? Sounds like a good idea for a sitcom."

"Based on the fact he's had no training and everything else you said, he shouldn't be let in." A 21 year old woman with golden hair and blue eyes leaned against the wall. She wasn't wearing the normal nurse's attire, but she worked at the hospital. "We've all trained long and hard no matter which path of healing we've chosen be it magic or technical. This guy just wanders in and then asks for a job with an unsubstantiated claim of healing. I wouldn't believe it unless I saw it."
"Aria." A doctor with hard blue eyes and black hair looked at the golden-haired woman. "I do rather agree, but I'd say give him a chance."
"You're always a softie, Yumi. Ja ne." Aria's pager went off and she left the room.
"Sorry about that," Yumi said. "Aria's not normally like that, but she's the Head Healer here. She has a natural knack for healing. She studied in the 3rd Dimension though she has no natural healing magic of her own."

Aria was standing against a wall and walked over. "Let's see...." She looked around and a Fearow with an injured wing hobbled over. "I also treat injured Pokemon out here. Sometimes it's hard to get into the Pokemon Center or sometimes their injuries can't be healed with the staff on hand. Your test is to heal this injured Fearow. Flying Pokemon injuries are more complicated than normal injuries especially when it comes to wings."

Goram nodded and gently crouched beside the Fearow. The stone around his neck began to glow as he began to heal, making sure to be very careful to heal it correctly. The healing energy almost had a mind of its own as he healed the Fearow.

After it was done, the Fearow stretched his wing out. "How is it?" Aria asked.
"Good as new," the Fearow said. Aria kneeled down and examined it.
"Pretty good though the bone is a bit denser than what it should be, but not bad for a newbie," Aria said.
"Pretty high praise coming from her," Yumi said.

"Before you answer that, I have a question," Goram said. "Would I be allowed to date one of the nurses or is there a rule against that?"

"No rule against it," Aria said. "I'll give him the job so long as he allows a trained person to observe and mentor him for a while."

"Just remember. Until I've gotten more experienced at healing, I need to be in the garden or I'll be using my own life energy to heal, thereby endangering myself," Goram said.
