"I think it's dark magic." He showed her an old book. "Watch the book carefully as I start reciting one of the spells." He began reciting and a completely black aura began to exude from the book, radiating a sense of pure evil.

He stopped and the dark aura retreated. "I'm afraid to ever use any of these. I have no doubt in my mind they possess incredible power, but they'd probably consume my soul."

[I'm actually going to set something up here. Have some magic user attack and he'll take them on with some non-dark spells he's got in another book.]
"Yeah. I've got a lot of other spells in this book, though." He showed her another book. "I've tried a few of these out and I'm sure none of them are dark."

[Ok. My plan was that he'd try his best to fight back with the magic he knows isn't dark, but nothing proves effective, then in the blank space on those pages, a new spell randomly appears. A dark one. He uses it to defend himself, then later, dark spells can appear at random times in the book when he's in danger.]

[This is probably going to be a bit fail since I suddenly got block -___-; And I'm still half asleep.]
A man grabbed Isotael as she followed Sagi out and held a knife to her neck. "Watch it," Isotael growled. "What do you want?"
"you're Hachian, so you must have connections to the Pantheon and Guardians. Take me to them," the man said.

A spike of rock shot up under the man. Sagi had the book open and it was glowing. "That was just one of the spells I know. If you want her, you have to go through me."

The man merely landed on his feet after getting shot up in the air. "Your pitiful spells won't work on me," he said. A thick layer of ice and crystal sprang up around Sagi and encased him, leaving no seams. he turned back to Isotael. "Tell me where they are."
"like hell I would!" the Zapdos morph spat.

Sagi blasted through the ice with a powerful stream of fire. "And your spells won't stop me from protecting her." Rocks began to pelt the attacker like sniper bullets.

The rocks stopped and turned back at Sagi with twice the force. Isotael licked her lips and took a step back. She was terrified but refused to show it. "that's right. I've mastered your Hachian magic beyond the point of needing the Sacred Circles," he said.
"As if I haven't?" Isotael came back, but it was a bluff. She hadn't practiced that level of magic in years.

Dang it. I've only mastered 3 spells. The others might backfire on me. Sagi looked at the book and saw a new spell glowing. That wasn't there before, but it's probably my best shot to beat him. He read the spell and a powerful blast of dark energy ripped through the attacker.
