Sterling waited. When Zar got back with Squamis, Sterling faced him. "Squamis, why did you always turn away from me? Always make me feel like an outcast."
"I'm sorry if I hurt you," he said, "but it was because I didn't want Salamand to be jealous."
"Wh-what?"
"Sterling, you have a heart full of love. Overflowing, actually. Strong enough to tempt any man, even pull some away from their wives. I admit, I was tempted a few times, but I didn't want to betray Salamand. That's why I looked away. To keep my marriage with her. Sterling, I want you to go out there, find a man you love, and make him the happiest man on the planet. You can do that easily."

"I've got to thank you for your help. Allow me to do this to you." Slowly, a spirit began forming in front of them, taking on the form of Lance's departed lover.

"Give me a minute and I'll bring her back," Sterling said. She focused and the new body slowly began appearing.
"This is what I mean," Squamis said to Zar, seeing how much effort it was taking for Sterling to do it. "It's not easy for her to do something like this, yet she selflessly does it just to make others happy."

Sterling exhausted herself, but she completely created a Gardevoir body and brought Roseline back. Immediately afterwards, she collapsed.
