Daezer walked over. "Mira?"
"Ayche orika orive," she said, closing her eyes and rubbing her temples. Daezer nodded and let her inside, talking with her in rapid Ancient Yeneo.

Daezer was in the kitchen for around fifteen minutes, then brought Mira some tea who sipped it and sighed in relief. "Sorry about randomly showing up like this," Mira said.
"It's all right, Mira," Daezer said. "YOu know that if you need something, you can come to me."
Mira smiled weakly. "Thanks Dad."

"Where are Alai and Saran?" Daezer asked, clearly concerned. He knew when the triplets were separate, it was never a good thing.
"Alai's off training, Saran's off studying with great-grandma," Mira said. Daezer nodded.
"What happened?"
MIra sighed. "The usual. Saran and Alai got into it and had a fucking massive arguement. One even I couldn't stop." Daezer sighed.
"I knew it wasn't a good idea to have let guys chosen which cultures you wanted to study when you were younger. THat's what's caused this rift..." HE shook his head and sighed again.

"It happened over 40,000 years ago, Dad," Mira said, taking another sip of the tea. "There's nothing you can do to change it now."
"I know, but it's something I shouldn't have let you do."
"Plus after what happened to Mom..." Mira blinked and facepalmed, knowing she slipped up bad from the look on Daezer's face.

"I-It wasn't his fault, though. Someone was egging him on. The guy didn't know how mad Dad could get. It was before Dad knew much of anything about control, though. Mom was there, trying to calm him down. Same with Nora. The guy didn't stop even with Mom and Nora warning him. He just snapped..." Tears flowed down Mira's face as she clearly remembered the event.

"He wouldn't do that to anybody else he loves, though. Believe me. He meditates like eight hours a day sometimes. He's going to ensure he never kills anyone he loves again. He's promised on his honor." She fell silent for a few minutes again. "Please, don't be scared of him. That was over 40,000 years ago. He's learned a lot since then. Him with you... It's the happiest I've seen him in a long time. At least a thousand years."

Mira nodded, and swirled the tea around. "Don't think for one second he'd turn on you. Never doubt him. you should know he's always true in what he says and does. What happened to Mom was a terribly tragedy and accident. He's fixed it. He has as much control as Zerza-unete now. He meditates like eight hours a day sometimes just to ensure that he doesn't lose control. That's probably what he's doing right now. The reminder always makes him meditate.'

Mira smiled. "I'm glad. I was just saying. Sometimes after the girls hear that, they completely freak out and are afraid he'll kill them. That's what happend a thousand years ago with his last wife. He reassured her it wouldn't happen, but she bolted in the middle of the night."

Mira nodded. "That's good. That's why Alai was so hateful at the Christmas party. She was more or less thinking, 'Wait till she finds out about what happened to Mom. Then that'll test if she really cares.'" Mira shook her head. "Alai hates Dad to a certain extent for him killing Mom and our younger sister."

"But she hates the women more. She thinks Dad's trying to replace Mom or make up for it somehow. I've tried to explain to her time and again that he always loves them and always remembers her and no one could replace her. Each one's had her own strengths and weaknesses that Dad's loved; he treats them all as their own person. He'd never treat women genarically."
