Daezer grabbed the necklace out of the drawer and disappeared, reappearing at Lake Eternity. "Mother, I'm sorry. I hope you can forgive Lilly her weakness. I hope she returns to her old self one day. Until then, I will never see her again." He tossed the necklace into the lake.
