"I'm a lot more open-minded because Haruna-sama decided to raise me here. I know she seems very stuffy and conservative, but she's really nice once you can get past that. But, of course, my family still had a lot of influence as I was growing up."

"Not unless you can convince them that arranged marrige is wrong." She gripped her hands into fists. "They want me married to a 'respectable' guy of their choosing before I turn eighteen. They want it by next summer. I don't want that! My life is my own! I'm not some pawn of theirs to do with as they please!" Tears streamed down her face.
