Fox walked out into the tall grass. Hmmmm.....This seems like a good place.. He thought as he pulled out two of his Pokeballs. "Go Daisy! Storm!" He said as a Delcatty and a Sealeo appeared. "OK guys. You know what to do. Number 10 please.' The two Pokemon nodded and started to run a distance. They ran appart until they were 30 feet apart. Then Storm bellowed into the sky and used Blizzard. Daisy closed her eyes and used her silver swift. It swirled in the snowy wind and the came together to form a Griffin. It sreeched and flew into the sky, where it twisted and swirled and breathed blue sparks. Then it swooped down back into the Blizzard, where it landed. It then reared up and exploded into dust. But the two Pokemon weren't done. Daisy used assist and out came Bubblebeam. Storm called off the blizzard and used Aurora Beam on the Bubblebeam. The result was frozen bubbles being shot into the sky, glittering in the Aurora Beam's shine as well in the sun. Then Storm used Ice ball and the bubbles, the beam and the Ice ball were all blown into glittering dust. Then the two Pokemon came together and bowed.

"I hate winter." Leafeon shivered as she walked by the contest training area. She had dressed warmly by adding gray leggings, a heavy green sweater, and black boots to her usual outfit of a skirt, shoes, and tank top, but still was not used to the cold. Her long, emerald green hair blew against her fair skin.
Her Beautifly, Silver Wings and Eevee, Cheri walked beside her. Dayo, her Cleffa, and Vine, a Venasaur were avoiding the weather by staying inside of their Pokeballs.
"Beauti?" Silver Wings said.
"I thought it would be nice to walk around, but I guess not." Leafeon spotted a trainer and his Pokemon practicing. "Maybe a battle will help. Let's go!" she smiled as her Pokemon followed close behind her.
"Mwee!" Cheri called to the trainer's Pokemon.
"Hi," Leafeon greeted, "I'm Leafeon and this is Cheri and Silver Wings."

Fox turned around. A girl with her pokemon were speaking to him. "I'm Fox. I might as well let my Pokemon introduce themselves." Daisy stepped forward. She bowed her head, "I'm Daisy, a Delcatty if you please." She said. It was Storm's turn. The Sealeo flopped over. "I'm Storm, also known as Icebreaker." She did not seem troubled by the cold, as she was an ice type. Daisy licked a paw.

"Ah, talking Pokemon." Leafeon noted. "My Pokemon can't talk, but I can still understand them."
"Mwee!" Cheri exclaimed, happily playing in the snow.

Fox smiled. "I see. Most Pokemon can talk, but there's a rare few who can't." He said. Daisy trotted over to Cheri and started to play a game with her.

Fox shook his head. "No. Not contests. Acts." He turned to his pokemon. "Give 'em your best shot at a randomized one, kay guys?" Daisy nodded, and Storm smiled. Daisy trotted over to a spot and used auora beam, making sure it made a dome with a stem. Storm went inside the dome and stood beside Daisy, who was adding a silver swift to the shining beauty of the dome. Storm reared up and used bubblebeam, making a stream of instantly frozen bubbles join to make a fountain out of the middle. Daisy finally made a stream of rainbow colored swift come out with a bubbles, making a multi-colored fountain.

Fox smiled. "That's the most complicated one I know. The rainbow swift is hard to make, as well as the domed auora beam. Storms part is easy. It took me four years to master this one. It's Number 20." He nodded and looked towards the two, who had stopped and come together in a bow. "But I think it's made my pokemon slightly show-offish." He laughed.

Fox smiled. "Fine by me. double or single?" Without waiting, he turned and pointed a pokeball at Storm. "Return!" Storm dissapeared in a flash of red light. He pulled out another Pokeball. "Go Zap!" And out came a Luxray. He smiled. In a voice of cracking thunder he said, "I'm ready when you are Fox." Daisy smiled and rubbed against Zap. Fox smiled and mouthed out, pointing at the two, 'They're in loooove!' Daisy shoot him a look.

Leafeon laughed quietly. "There's no need to be embarassed you two, being in love must be great." Then Leafeon turned her attention to Fox, "Let's make this a double battle!" she exclaimed.
Beautifly flew in front of her, ready to fight. Cheri sat on the ground.
"You don't want to battle, Cheri?" Leafeon asked.
Cheri nodded and Leafeon took out a Pokeball. "Let's go, Vine!" she said, tossing the Pokeball. A Venasaur came out of the Pokeball and stood proudly.
"Ven....asaur!" he smiled.

Fox grinned. "Lets go! Daisy! Use swift! Zap! Use Discharge with the swift!" The Discharge combined to make a sparking swift with two elements. It streaked towards Vine.

"Silver Wings, blow the attack away with Silver Wind! Vine, protect yourself with Vine Whip!" The Silver Wind Attack blew away some of the combination, but not all of it. Silver Wings was hit by the Zap Attack, Vine was also hit.

Fox smiled. "Now Daisy! Use Assist!" Daisy used Assist, and out came a metellic Metal Claw. Daisy streaked, lightning fast, towards her target: Vine. Meanwhile, Zap was circling Silver Wings, growling. "Zap! Use your Head Smash Move!" Zap Nodded and charged towards, Silver Wings, jumping into the air and diving headfirst, streaking towards his target. But what nobody heard was this: Fox had used his telepathy to tell Zap to feint with his Head Smash, and use Spark. So when Zap almost hit Silver Wings, he jerked to one side and instead used Spark, hoping to electricute the bug Pokemon.

"Contest battle strategy, eh?" Leafeon said, "Hurry, Wings! Dodge it! Vine use Vine Whip!" Silver Wings barely dodged her opponent's attack while Vine was about to attack.

Daisy flipped back and lowered her body. "Daisy! You know what to do!" Daisy nodded, and used Assist. Aroura Beam came out and formed a protective dome. Zap streaked into the dome and used discharge on Vine, hoping to stop him using vinewhip.

The dome shattered, and both Daisy and Zap were thrown backwards. "Why you!" Shouted Zap as he doubled his onslaught with discharge, striking at Silver Wings.

"Beauti!" Silver Wings cried as she was hit and drifted to the ground.
"Wings!" Leafeon ran over to her Pokemon. "Are you okay?" she asked as she picked up the Beautifly. Silver Wings nodded and was put back into her Pokeball.

Fox scolded Zap. "Zap! I didn't tell you to attack back! Oh well, what's done is done. Daisy! Use swift on Vine! Zap! Discharge, let's go!"

"I only have Vine left and I don't think I can have another Pokemon battling." Leafeon muttered as she watched the battle, knowing her team would lose.

Fox smiled. "Don't take it to hard. My pokemon are pretty strong. Most people battle me only if they want to. I prefer contests, really."

"Vine, Frenzy Plant attack!" Leafeon said. Vine nodded and sent large, thick green roots out of the ground and towards his opponents. "I'm sorry for not believing in you, Vine, I should have known better."

Daisy managed to dodge, but Zap was caught. "Ahhhhhgggg!" He yelled out as he wwas attack by a plant. "Daisy! quick! Use Swift!" Said Fox. Daisy lept up to be behind Vine, and used swift.

"Vine, defend with Vine Whip!" Suddenly, green vines launched out from Vine and blocked the Swift attack.
