Zeria sat under Eternity Waterfall, letting the icy water cascade over her. She was freezing, but she knew the water would cause her no harm. She sat with her eyes closed and concentrated. She hoped the sacred site would offer some answers, but so far nothing had come. She had been here about six months, stuck in the past and trapped. But that wasn't even the half of it. She was hoping desperately for some answers.

A wisp in the water appeared before her. "You wanna know the truth?"

"WAH!" Zeria fell off the rock she was sitting on and into the river. She popped out of the relatively still river and climbed onto the bank. "Yeesh. You scared the crap out of me." She sat on the bank and started to wring her hair out.

The wisp has no real physical form other than the small flame it appeared as. "Follow me."

The wisp began to fly off rather quckly.

The wisp arrived at what appeared to be an abandoned temple. "My strength fades past here. Within, you will meet a guru who can help you." The wisp disappeared.

Zeria hid her wings and walked into the temple hesitantly. She raised her hand and silver light engulfed her.

Zeria continued to walk along, her hand above her head. On the other hand, she kept a Shadow spell should she need to defend herself. Only a master of Shadow would be able to sense it for she had nearly mastered the Element despite her young age. Where is that guru? she wondered as she looked around. Her eyes widened and she began breathing heavily as the silver light faded. Had anyone been able to see her, they would have noticed her fading away. She leaned against a wall for support until it passed. After it did, she called upon a Black Light spell. It was a spell that used Darkness for light. Luckily, with the darkness around her, it wouldn't take much energy. She kept the Shadow spell around her hand though as she walked.

A light at the end of the path waited for Zeria and the guru sat in the open, facing away from the doorway.

The Black Light faded when it came into the light. Zeria was still wary and kept the Shadow magic around her hand.

"I'm fading away... I'm disappearing." Tears streamed down her face. "I have a feeling it's because I'm not supposed to be in this time, but why? If I was meant to be sent back here, why am I fading?" More tears streamed from her blue eyes.
