A girl with black hair and eyes sat in the back of the cafe, watching as people went around their buisness. Humans are interesting, she thought as she absentmindedly stirred some hot tea with a spoon.

"Hot mocha," a Mewtwo morph said as he approached the counter.

Cho put the spoon down then sipped at the tea.

THe morph got his coffee and began to cool it off by blowing on it.

Cho cast a glance at the morph, slightly curious, but didn't dwell on him much. She was interested in just watching people in general

"Humans are so strange, aren't they?" the morph said to Cho.

"Yup."

"I'm half human and I'm ashamed of it."

"Half human too, but tend to embrace the flexibility it allows."

"Flexibility?"

"My other half, lunoi... Very rigid structure, generally inflexible. Humans are pretty much polar opposite of that. Because of their short lifespans, they have more flexibility than any other race back at home."

"Hmm. I'm not so sure. The humans I've seen aren't that flexible. That's why I wanted to completely lose my humanity. A friend of mine, who's a Mewtwo, tried to help me, but as you can see, she could only do the job halfway."

Cho shrugged. "Everyone's got their opinion. Some think humans are great, some think they're horrible, most are somewhere inbetween."

"I wonder if there's yet a way for me to rid myself of what remains of my humanity."

"Donno."

"If there is, I'd jump at the chance. You don't wanna know what I had to do to become half Mewtwo like I am."

"I'm not proud of the human in me, but I'd take it over being full lunoi anyday."

"The lunoi are war, war, war. Training elzi, gathering intelligence, training themselves. It's not an ideal place for a half human to grow up."

Cho shrugged. "You just might. I met some people that were changed through magic to other forms permanently and they really regretted it."
