A young Leaox (I think that's Plixen's pre-evo) jumped up on the desk. "Hi there."
"She's a stray," the Plixen from earlier said, coming in. "I thought I could take care of her, but it's proved more than I can handle on my own at my age."

Hyuen filled out the paperwork, absorbed. Carol looked around the room, occasionally saying a strange word to seemingly thin air.

The Plixen sighed and laid down in the office. The Leaox jumped down on her and a loud snap could be heard. "My back!" The Plixen was paralyzed, her back seriously injured.
