Night chuckled, somewhat surprised by Ewosa's comment. "Well, it's true they can be somewhat bland at times, but we still have to help them when they're in trouble. That's the responsibility that comes with having powers and magic."
Eva smiled, although it came off as somewhat awkward.

Night set his hand on her shoulder. "I may not have raised my own child, or know how you've raised her in the past, but I've seen the bond between you two. Whether or not you decide to let her figure this out on her own, I know for sure that if she has trouble she'll come to you, first and foremost."
Eva nodded, "I also have seen this. I can't count all the times I've found myself wishing I could have her place. To have a bond like that..." She sighed, "It seems as though it is not my destiny."
Night looked over at her, his eyes wary, but at the same time compassionate.

Night nodded. "One thing I've learned from Anasazi is that there are some questions only she can answer. The only way she'll know is by working to find the truth herself." He sighed, "I couldn't begin to comprehend how you must feel about this, with Kalil having left and Ewosa approaching the point where she begins looking for her own answers. I have never been at such a point. But I know that it must be very emotionally draining." He got up, "I just want you to know I'll always back you up, whenever you need me."
Eva glanced at Night oddly, as if to say 'what about me?'.
He put his arm around her, "You have me during all the time whenshe doesn't need my help."

Eva huffed, clearly dissatisfied with being told not to talk. Even thought she was dissatisfied, however, she still reluctantly agreed. "Fine. I suppose I owe you a debt as well."
Night nodded, "She is a part of the original Kiki."
Eva looked around. "On another note, I've noticed it's rather quiet around. That annoying little munchkin- I believe you called her Z-something- I haven't seen her around."
(She means Zelda, in case you hadn't already guessed.)
