Tails was so shocked when Lucil finally broke the kiss. "Wh-what was that for?"

"But, the adventuring I do can be really dangerous! Are you sure?" Spike was obviously worried for her. "Shade and I have worked out a color-coded danger meter. Green means no danger. Yellow is some, orange is fair, red is very, and then black is 'get out of there anyway you can'. most the time it's on red. sometimes, it's orange. then more often than not, it's on black."

"Yes, it can be very dangerous. Like my first adventure, i had to rely on Shade mostly. You see, there were these huge worms in the ground, vicious things, which prey on his people, so they stay away from that area. They called it 'The Wasteland' and for good reason. We were trying to reach the home of the biggest and nastiest so we could kill it, since it was the leader of the other ones, it's death would scatter them. So while we were in the wasteland the danger was black. One misstep, and you'd be toast."
