Lucil had her eyes closed, enjoying the sun. "Hey, Lucil. Try opening your eyes," Tails said, getting in front of her so he'd be the first thing she saw.

Spike sat behind her a ways, waiting for her reaction. I have no doubt this worked, it's just a matter of time at worst. I could feel power radiating off of that guy, Anasazi, when he granted the wish, like nothing i could have felt before. With power like that, there's no way she could still be blind.

"Is this some kind of joke?" Lucil asked with a chuckle. "We both know I'm blind. What point is there in me o--oh my gosh!" She gasped as she opened her eyes and saw for the very first time in her life. "This...this is incredible."
"And guess who's the first thing you saw," Tails said, petting her. "I wanted to make sure of that."
"But...how? How is it I can see?"

Spike stood quickly. "A wish giver named Anasazi. Celcia and I went to visit him earlier, and when we found him he granted your wish of being able to see. And it's not for just ten seconds, either, it's permanent!"

Spike came back a few minutes later, "Actually, it wasn't really our wish which gave us your sight. It was Tails. Anasazi looks at the heart's desire, which for me was for Tails to be happy. When he looked at Tails's heart, though, he saw that the thing which would make Tails happiest was your sight."

"Out of everything you could possibly have wished for, you chose the one thing I wanted?" Lucil asked Tails.
"I did," Tails said. "You deserved to see just like you deserve to be happy. Even if I can't get another wish, I'm glad I got this one." Lucil was stunned. She didn't know what to say or what to do. She was practically petrified in that spot.

"Tails, can I tell you something?" Lucil said, motioning for him to lean down so she could whisper. He leaned down and got surprised by a kiss on the lips with a paw around the back of his head preventing him from pulling away. Lucil was kissing him.

Spike smiled and stepped away. He was glad it was working out. It would be interesting to watch their relationship grow. And perhaps, someday, he'd be an uncle!
