"Ah." Slate spun, so he was running up the front of the mechine, then lept over the defensive motions, landing on top of the mechine. he looked around, noticing a small cord running over the back. "What's this do, Lakkam?" He walked over to it and lowered his sword, ready to cut it.

"Cut that and you'll electrocute yourself," he said, turning to a large, organ control mechanism. Playing an ominous tune, Vengagun grabbed Slate to remove him.

"well, seems you have more tricks than I thought." Slate dug his sword into one of the crevices in the hand, making it loosen and sliding out, landing smoothly onto the ground. He stood, his sword at the ready, then used Hyrameki's speed to get up to the foot of the mechine and slash at a wire as he passed.

"Vegnagun's armor is impenetrable. Slashing one wire won't stop this. It also has self repair systems."

"I see. Well, then I guess I'll just have to try something else." Slate, appearing behind Vegnagun, commented, as he prepared to attack once again. He began running at normal speed toward the mechine

The machina(just the Al Bhed word for machine) reacted to him coming and fired off several missiles at him.

Slate continued, evading the missiles and having them track him as he dashed toward the machine. "Ah, thank you, Lakkam, you've given me what i needed."

Lakkam desperately tried to abort the missle attack, but the controls wouldn't respond. "Overload!" he shouted as he jumped from the machina before it exploded.

"Now will you face me in melee combat?" Slate commented, looking at Lakkam, wondering if he had another machine to use first.
