The quiet of the ghost town was interrupted by a snap, then a blinding flash, which four figures fell from.
"I... it can't be!" The first, a man in a green tunic, said as he stood.
"I... don't believe it." The second figure, a woman in a white tunic, stated as she stood.
"We've failed, and it's all your fault, Enki! Because you led us..." The third figure, another man wearing a red tunic started, then stopped as the fourth, another woman, touched his shoulder.
"Calm down, Xipil. We have another chance. If we are in the future, most likely that monster is too. We can find and destroy him while his powers have weakened from lack of use." She was wearing a Blue tunic, and as she spoke, her voice was full of disgust.

A strange white Gengar with blue eyes watched the scene as she sat on a wall, a look of curiosity on her face.

"Oh, you poor thing! Such brutality, cursing such a creature!" The fourth figure began to slowly move toward the Gengar, trying not to scare it off until she could try to remove the supposed 'Curse' on it.
"Be careful, Aquize. We have no idea what that thing can do." Enki commented, as he watched her approach.
"we should annaliate it. It's probably a spy." Xipil made this comment, then huffed as the girl in the white tunic blocked his path.
"If it was a spy, it would have left when we saw it." She reasoned.
(Sorry for the late reply, but the net's was on the fritz today for some reason. It's fixed now.)

"Relax," the Gengar said in clear, smooth English. "If by my coloration you think I'm 'cursed', that's the not the truth. It's my natural colors. And I'm no spy. i just hang out around here a lot."

"That's right, it probably has no idea of it's original form. It's been too long. We must end these curses!" Aquize commented, as she drew the moisture from the air to form a sphere of water in her hands, then began to focus her energy into the water, making it shine. She pulled a bottle from her pocket, then put the glowing water into it, and holding it out for the Gengar to take. "Drink this."
"Are you sure, Aquize?" Enki spoke, "Do you really think someone would forget such a change?"
"And why should we take it's word for whether it's a spy or not?" Xipil called.
"Because it would have fled if it was a spy, and because it seems nice." The girl in white commented.
"That's right, Aura, i think it isn't a threat." Enki looked at Xipil. "And we don't attack unless threatened, right, Xipil?"
"All right, all right, no need to get nasty, Enki." Xipil looked iratated, but he obviously recalled a previous fight with Enki.
(They think the Ghost town is a town they passed through, and the Gengar is one of the remaining townspeople.)

The Gengar glowered. "I'm a Gengar through and through," she said. "I know normal ones are purple with red eyes, but I was born with this coloration. If needbe, you can just ask my trainer!"

"It's delerious. This is worse than we thought. We have to end that monster's reign." Enki commented at the Gengar's reaction.
"Please, drink. It will help you." Aquize said.
"That seems to be agression, Enki. I think that gives us the reason to pound it." Xipil commented.
"No, Xipil, it's just frustrated." Aura said, holding him back.

The Gengar's blue eyes flared. "Levari," she muttered. A few moments passed, then a girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes, around 18, appeared. She was wearing Fairy robes and a thick cloak to protect her from the cold. Her arms were folded and she held a baby in her arms that was no more than a month old.
"Everi, what's the meaning of calling me out here like this?" the girl asked.
"Sorry, but these people think I'm a demon or something," Everi said. "Daisy, please explain to them..." Daisy looked at the four people.

"It would seem, those who have powers cannot be effected by the curse." Enki commented, as he looked at Daisy.
"See! It was a spy! It called one of the soldiers from the beast's army!" Xipil called, jerking against Aura, who was holding him back.
"Stop! We don't know who she supports!" Aura commented.
Aquize was worst affected, as she saw the exact difference between the two 'forms'. "Please, convince that poor thing to drink this. It's a restoring potion which will remove the adverse effects from the curse that ravages this land!"

"Curse? What are you talking about?" Daisy asked. "This girl here is one of my Pokemon companions." She smiled and gently shifted her baby to her other arm and patted Everi on her head. "We met a few years ago. And I'm from no army. I'm just her trainer and her friend. I saved her life." Daisy shook her head. "My name's Daisy Mezu. I live here in this city. Well, this is the ghost town part of the city where the Ghost types hang out. Wait. Are you familiar with Pokemon? You seem to be familiar with magic." She eyed the water Aquize was manipulating.

"We have no idea of these Pokemon. We were fighting an ancient evil intent on overwelming the world with his magic, then found ourselves here. He called himself Trevil." Enki said, then continued. "We each control one element - Aquize controls water, I control Earth, Xipil controls Fire, and Aura controls Air." Each of them nodded in turn as he listed them and their elements off.

"Well, Everi's what you call a Gengar," Daisy said. She explained a little bit about Pokemon, the types mostly, but she kept it short; about 3 minutes.

"We have heard nothing of the kind." Enki commented as she finished.
"Then it's not cursed. I'll just save this for later." Aquize commented, putting the potion in her pocket.
"Oooooh. How boring. a place with no need to fight." Xipil whined.
"I think it's great! I never did like fighting!" Aura was exited.

Daisy shivered. Though she was wearing thick clothes, her being half Fairy still exposed her to the cold. "I need to get home. This cold isn't good for me or my baby," she said.

"Very well, we will walk with you." Enki commented, as he stood.
"Make one wrong move, and i'll fry you." Xipil said
"Xipil, these are our friends!" Aura seemed completely disgusted at the way he treated them, then noticed Daisy's shiver. "Oh, she's cold! Xipil, do something decent for once and help her keep warm!"
"why me?" he asked, only to be ripped by her anger, "BECAUSE YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE WITH FIRE!"
"Now, Aura, calm down." Aquize was at Aura's side. "I know you have pity for them, but you shouldn't attack a friend like that."
"If everything's settled," Enki spoke to the other three, "We can leave."

"I'm very capable of teleporting myself home. I'm just not sure how my sister would react if you came with me," Daisy said.
"Ombreon'll deal with Kiki. And you know she won't be too angry. Maybe they can stay with you until you can get them a house or something," Everi suggested.
Daisy frowned and looked at her friend. "I'm still not sure..." She shivered again, then, with her free hand, made a small white flame appear and it elimated the traces of cold from her body. "That's a bit better..."
"Just take them with you and let Ombreon deal with Kiki's tempter. Not that she'd yell at you or anything," Everi said again.
"True..."

Xipil watched as Daisy activated fire. "See, she's fine."
Aura was still iratated with Xipil, but was amazed to see Daisy using fire. "You can use fire? But it's uncharactaristic of you."
"Perhaps she's learned to control her temper. That would be something for Xipil." Aquize stated, loud enough for him to hear.
"Aquize, don't start a fight with Xipil now. We need a place to rest for the night, before we explore." Enki stepped between Xipil and Aquize as they neared each other.

"You can come with me for the time being," Daisy said. "I'll explain about my magic when we get back to my house." She held out her free hand. "One of you take my hand, then form a chain or you can just put your hands on my shoulders."

Enki nodded, then seeing everyone else hesitating, took her hand, and was followed by Aquize, then Aura, and finally Xipil. "We're ready when you are."
