Blade began walking through the ghost town, feeling as though there were eyes staring through him. "Giratina, I know you live in this area, show yourself! I wish to prove my strength to you so we may become allies!" Blade waited to see if Giratina would show itself, or if he was wasting his time searching for a false legend.
(I know Giratina is a real pokemon, because I have one on Pokemon Diamond for DS. I just added that to build suspense.)

ooc: Kiki said in the rules that she doesn't really know the Diamond and Pearl legens well, so I'll take on playing Giratina.
An eerie presence began to surround Blade. "You really believe you are strong enough?" a dark voice said.

"I agree to those terms!" With that, Blade tossed out a pokeball. "Tyranitar! I need your assistance!" The large pokemon appeared in a flash of light, and gave a roar. "We're ready when you are, Giratina! I forgot to mention I once held three championships, Jhoto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh!"

"All right, the first challenge I have had in awhile! Tyranitar, Earthquake!" Blade lept as the earth began to shake, and watched as Tyranitar used it's weight to cause a small earthquake as it grew nearer to Giratina.

"All right, Focus! Prepare to be attacked from any direction!" Blade called to Tyranitar, "And when it shows itself, use Shadow Claw!" Tyranitar nodded, then, looking determined, he focused on locating the point Giratina was attacking from.

Giratina appeared directly behind Tyranitar with his Shadow Force, his strongest attack.

Tyranitar heard the attack coming, spun while charging his Shadow Claw attack, then unleashed the energy in a large blast. "Do you understand now, Giratina? I didn't win those championships alone, instead i have my friends, Tyranitar, Blaziken, Infernape, and Aipom, who have spent the time mastering each and every move and improving them to their tastes! Tyranitar here likes speed and power." While he was talking to Giratina, Tyranitar launched a normal strength Shadow Claw, the first to neutralize the Shadow Force attack.

"Maybe so, but I will not just lie down and be defeated that easily." Giratina stomped the ground hard with a roar, sending out an earthquake.

"I like your spirit, Giratina. Tyranitar!" Blade just called Tyranitar's name, and it responded with an Earthquake of it's own, weaking the blow from Giratina's. It then dashed foward to use Shadow Claw again.

Giratina knew what was coming and took to the air. (Yes, it can Fly. I've taught it to on my diamond.)

Blade watched Giratina as it flew out of Tyranitar's reach. "Tyranitar! Remember that fight with Pigeot at the Sinnoh Championship? Do the same thing here!" Tyranitar nodded, his eyes following Giratina as it flew, ready for it to turn at him.

Giratina disappeared while in the air, prepping for Shadow Force.
ooc: You can't make every attack miss. That's god-modding and Kiki only allows that for Ombreon, one of her pokemon that's of a nearly extinct species, and Kratos, my character, which is also my screen name, who's a 4000 year old warrior with incredible powers.

(I know that, the earthquake of Tyranitar's olny cushoned the blow from Giratina, that's what i said. "weaking the blow from Giratina's".)
Tyranitar stiffened as it's tracking of it's opponent was stopped due to the Shadow Force. "Don't worry! Just focus! It'll come in low, you should be able to hear the sound of the air coming off it's wings!"

A head on approach is too risky, Giratina thought. Maybe if I land at a distance and quietly approach on the ground, I can land my attack. Giratina swooped down out of earshot and landed, then began a slow, quiet approach toward Tyranitar.

It would have struck by now if it was flying at him... "Tyranitar! It obviously landed somewhere! Don't let your guard down!" Tyranitar nodded, and began focusing on locating Giratina from the movement of grass on the ground.

Darn it, he's crafty, Giratina thought. Now what do I do? If I try to attack close range again, it'll block me. Maybe this will help. With that, Giratina made multiple copies using Double Team in order to get close enough to attack.

Tyranitar paused, as multiple blades of grass surrounding him were moving, then his eyes locked on a small shadow protruding from one of the blades of grass. He began charging at the shadow, ready to use his full-power Shadow Claw.

Giratina appeared and its Shadow Force attack met head on with Tyranitar's Shadow Claw. "You're pretty good, kinda."

Tyranitar nodded, preparing his Shadow Claw once again, and brought it foward. "Good, Tyranitar! Have it tire itself out, then attack!"

Giratina moved back to avoid the hit. These guys are good. I.....I can't beat them. But at least I can go out with a bang. Giratina roared loudly and fired a Hyper Beam at Tyranitar.

"Tyranitar, ready?" Tyranitar began charging his Hyper Beam attack as well, as he prepared to counteract Giratina's. He launched the attack as Giratina's Hyper Beam neared, and the resulting explosion covered him in smoke, and he used Earthquake to keep Giratina at bay while the smoke cleared.

Giratina had exhausted its energy with that Hyper Beam and collapsed. "You've won the battle, but you haven't captured me yet."

"That will soon be remidied!" Blade threw a ball at the tired Giratina, and waited to see if it would work. Tyranitar is tired, but he's done well. He can still fight if this doesn't work this time.

The ball hit and Giratina disappeared inside. Despite its best efforts, it could not escape from the ball. Blade had captured it.
ooc: Personally, I still want to control the Giratina when not in battle.
