Do you know how hard it is to watch your biggest rival, who started training a lot later than you, Graduate before you? Do you? I would believe you don't!" His voice was cracked, as though he couldn't bear the thoughts, then he said, "I fight to live, and live to fight."

"I don't think you caught the first part - 'Fight to live'" Slate commented. He turned away from Kratos, ignoring his next actions. "Return." His pokeballs launched red streams of light out, returning his pokemon. "I will not fight. But I will leave the area, if you decide to return us to the forest."

I leave you to find you own way out. Forbidden Jutsu: Gedo Mark: Release!" After releasing the Gedo Mark's hold on him, Kratos teleported out of the abyss with Raine, leaving Slate behind.
