The desert sands swirl around as a cold wind blows, the night sky alive with twinkling stars. Suddenly, a shooting star goes by, but straight down, not to the side. A crash is heard, and a cloud of sand is visible further in. As the cloud clears, a strange craft is visible, which slowly is revealed as a large, triangular carrier ship, a type of spacecraft used by royalty and other significant people. A voice rings out in the silence, which is then revealed as a big machine. "Are you all right, Astros?" The machine seems to be talking to the ship, until a small creature leaps out of the side. "Yes, I'm all right. I think the-" The creature is cut off by the machine. "Can you give me the short version, please? Because all this technical jargon is giving me a headache." "Very well, I'll give you the 'Short story'. The engine fried itself. One of the parts wasn't lubricated, and as a result, ship go boom." "I am not an idiot, Astros. I understand what happened. I want to know if you can fix it." "Of course. At least temporarily, so we can get off this barren rock. There won't be anything even close to what we need here." "I'm not sure, Astros. My sensors pick up lifeforms on this 'barren rock'. I will look into it while you repair the ship."
(Oh, sorry, i fixed it. I'll try to do the same when I post next time.)

[When you're doing dialogue, could you please start a new paragraph every time somebody new speaks? It's hard to tell who's speaking otherwise]
Ho-oh, taking a break from being on Kiki's ranch, flew high overhead, riding the thermals so he didn't have to flap his wings. He looked down, then tilted his head. What a curious scene, he thought.

"Astros, under the ship! I sense a life-form above us!" The machine, Destinos, looked into the sky to see if it could spot the creature. Astros ducked under the ship, and watched the skys from there. "I don't see anything." "It's definatly there." The mechine's hand pointed at a spot in the sky, which was Ho-oh. "See?" "Well, what is it?" "Some kind of multicolored bird. can't you see it?" "No, i can't see it. My eyes cannot zoom in like yours."

Ho-oh circled above, still riding the thermals. He tried to understand what the hell was going on, but to no avail.

"It's circling. I bet it'll attack. I'll have to strike first." With that, the mechine teleported, reappearing above Ho-oh. "I got you first!" Astros watched his friend go, then got to his feet. "He should be able to being it down, and then that'll be a good time to test out my new inter-species translator." He lept into the ship.

Ho-oh quickly teleported out of the way. "What are you doing?!" he asked in clear English.
[Assuming that's what they're speaking...]

(it was)
"Huh? You can understand me?" Destinos's metalic body relaxed, making it look less dangerous. "We saw you circling, which is what some creatures do before they attack. So I thought you were going to attack us." He was hovering next to Ho-oh, waiting for it to respond.

"N-No. I was just trying to assess the situation," he said. "In all my days, never quite seen anything much like it...."

"We just crashed from the outer reaches of space. It doesn't happen often. We should have our ship back up and running here in a bit. Say, that town nearby, is everyone like you there?" Astros returned from the ship, surprized to notice his friend had stopped attacking the creature. He went to the com link in the ship. "Hey, is it gonna attack or not? Either way, bring the thing down." Destinos was surprized to hear Astros's voice in his head. He's using the com link. I'd best answer. "Astros, my friend, wants to meet you. Will you return to the surface with me?"

"Very well, but if you make an attempt to attack me, I won't hesitate to defend myself," the majestic Pokemon said.

"That was a mistake. We are sorry." The mechine led the way back to the ship, seeing Astros with his new translator. "Astros, you won't need that. It can understand and communicate with us itself."

Ho-oh hovered about five feet above the ground, then assumed the form of a 20 year old man with ginger hair and gray eyes. He shielded his eyes from the sun. "Forgot how insensitive human eyes were to the sun..." he muttered.

Astros and Destinos both were shocked at the transformation. "Do you know of the Galens?" Astros asked. Destinos, also over the shock, nodded, then added, "And are all the people here from the same place?"
(The galens are a species that can transform, so Astros is thinking Ho-oh may have come from there)

"Uh what...?" Ho-oh blinked at Astros' question. "What's a Galen...? This is something I learned from a friend." He scratched his head. To Destinos, he said, "No, not all are from the same place here. Some are native to this world while others are not."

"Ah, a intergalactic port, perfect. I suppose you have not seen much of royalty here. For your future refrence, this ship behind us is a Royal Transport. We ourselves are not royalty, but were given this ship for saving Astros's world from this weird creature. Shreaded my original body. Astros here built this one." Astros walked up to Ho-oh, barely coming up to it's knee. I am astros. I can talk, or I can use telepathy, like i'm doing now.[/u]

Ho-oh shrugged. "I'm relatively used to the telepathy thing," he said. "My trainers use it all the time. And you're wrong on the intergalactic thing; you should try interdimensional."

"Huh? Interdimentional? So you don't get many ships around here." Astros's eyes lost the glimmer of hope in them. "I was thinking we may be able to get parts for our ship. Too bad. Well, back to bypassing the Hyperdrive unit." "The Hyperdrive Unit? that's what broke? Without that, we're not going anywhere near fast enough." Destinos argued. "It's either that, or being stuck on this rock for the rest of our lives. The parts that run you should be good for at least a million more years. I don't want to sit on one rock the rest of my life, thank you, unless it's my home planet."

"We might be able to find you something similar," Ho-oh said. "Like I said, interdimensional. Mostly inhabitants from the 3rd Dimension. Though they still work under kings and queens, they've still got quite advanced technology. Not to mention Silph Co."

"Silph Co? I'm sorry. This planet wasn't on our charts, and so we have no idea where we are." Astros said, as he worked on the ship behind them. "Astros, please tell me the Cloaking unit is working, at least." "It is, why?" Astros looked at Destinos, as though he knew what was coming next. "You never know, until you try, Astros, and I intend to try to find a solution here. So, we'll buy a place, use the cloaking unit to keep it hidden, and we'll look for solutions while we're here. Is the engine ok to travel a couple clicks?" "I guess. Although I wouldn't be surprized if we didn't find anything. After all, the city is probably a prehistoric kind of thing." Astros was in a bad mood, after crashing on a planet he knew nothing of, not being able to test out his translator, and having no real promise that the city would hold any answers.

"This is Earth," Ho-oh said. "I can sense your frustration. But this city is really better than anywhere to have crashlanded aside from perhaps Saffron where Silph Co is located. Silph Co has the most advanced tech on this planet. With my trainer owning it and being half Fairy, the tech's quite advanced."

"Trainer? Fairy? What planet..." Astros started, until Destinos stopped him. "I think she means her owner, and I don't know about Fairy..."

"I'm a male, thank you very much!" Ho-oh snapped. He clamed down, then cleared his throat. "As for trainer, he's right at the basic level except that trainers are our companions as much as we are theirs. It'll take a while to explain in full detail. As for Fairy... Well, you'd have to see for yourself. They look pretty much the way I do now except the fact they have clear wings they can hide and reveal at will as well as use magic."

"What kind of a whacked planet is this?" Astros whispered to Destinos as they began walking toward the city. They dissappeared, Destinos's teleportation moving them along faster.
(Should we make a topic in the city?)

Destinos and Astros walked over to a dune, which seemed not to have anything on it.
(Inside the ship is a bunch of gadgets and stuff from their travels, you can choose to mess with something if you want.)

"You are wondering where the ship is, right?" Astros commented, as he looked at Kiki. "I heard your thoughts." He then lept into the air, disappearing as he did so. A minute later, the cloaking device on the ship was shut down, and the hard grey ship slowly appeared.

The small alien stood at the base of a window, which was how he entered the ship. He lept down, then the door slid open. "Come along, and be careful. Some of this stuff can be dangerous if you haven't been trained on how to use it."
(Want to cause trouble, or not? Cause one of the types of gadgets is a black box with a red button. If you want to cause trouble, just have someone push the button.)
